The Kissing Booth
Two best friend raised like twins come into their junior year in high school ready for it to be just another year. However when Elle wears a skirt too small for her it changes everything. This movie takes you through their year in Elle’s perspective and she’s quite funny. A young cast who most actually look to be teenagers which is awesome. I liked this movie because teenage romantic comedies have a status quo and this one changed it just a little. There were some standard issues but for the most part it was refreshing and slightly different then most RomComs. I also felt like they showed the current 2018 teenage life pretty well.
